As the Rose Garden workers, community members, and advocates with the Pilipino Workers Center (PWC) rally against labor trafficking and wage theft, the case against the administrators of Rose Garden Care Facility is moving forward.

LOS ANGELES — The Pilipino Workers Center (PWC) stands in solidarity with the detained immigrants at the Adelanto ICE Processing Center who have launched a hunger strike to protest inhumane conditions and mistreatment inside the facility. According to advocates, participants in the hunger strike have been met with retaliation rather than compassion.

SAN DIEGO - San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan announced human trafficking and wage theft charges today against two defendants who were taking advantage of the immigration status of their workers, forcing them to work around the clock without the pay required under California laws.
